Today just like every other day I'm up at 4:30 am to get my self ready to go to the nest .Today I was in more of a hurry because I wanted to see where the moon would be in the nest area. It was shinning so bright this morning I had hoped it would make for another photo opp. Yesterday the clouds did not cooperate with the Blood Moon so no photo's .
I arrive at the nest area. I'm just amazed at how well I could see Ozzie and Harriet sitting in their favorite tree one above the other. This is good but when I got out of my truck to check where the moon was , dog gone it  the moon was not in the right spot and wouldn't be until way after sunrise. Oh well there's other full moons to come.
Ozzie and Harriet were doing some preening and Harriet greeted the new day her usual vocals around day break. One by one they fly to the nest tree. Both check out the nest to see what is in order for today's nestorations.
6:37 am  Ozzie up top Harriet below
Ozzie leaves to get the first stick. After placing it , he then heads up to see Harriet and a little morning delight... (Blushing) It even fogged up my lens as you can see in my next photo of Ozzie and Harriet afterwards . LOL  Just kidding but my lens did fog up.
Ozzie fly's up a branch to get a stick and he was showing off for Harriet. At least this time he didn't get stuck upside down trying to get the stick.

Ozzie leaves again and gets another stick. Harriet heads to the tree by the road and gets her self a long stick with pine on it. She has a hard time  getting it to the nest. She ends up landing on the ground . She try's braking it a part but doesn't get very much from it and leaves it there . Sorry my lens is still fogged up a bit.

This is all Harriet came back with as she fly's right past me.
Poor Harriet , she had such a good stick for the nest too.
Ozzie ,what a sweet heart he is. He fly's down to where Harriet left her stick on the ground and try's real hard to bring it back to the nest for her. But try as he might , He too could not bring it back to the nest.So Ozzie flew to the right pond tree and brought back a stick with moss on it. What a wonderful gift for Harriet and the nest.

After placing the stick and checking to see what else he needs from  the stick depot , Ozzie heads off again .This time he goes back up a branch or two in the nest tree and gets some pine. He is getting good at this. LOL Back he comes with his pine for the nest. In the mean time Harriet not to be out done ,she heads off to the front tree again to bring in some more pine. Well she lost hers on the way back to the nest.
Ozzie and His pine

Well after placing the pine and feeling pretty good about himself ,Ozzie hops up with Harriet and gets himself a reward.... lol Harriet seemed a bit not to happy about that and let Ozzie know just what she thought. You could hear her just letting into Ozzie. So to make amends with  Harriet Ozzie went to get another stick from the right pond tree but came up empty talon. But he did scare all the Cattle Egret out of the tree..LOL  So Ozzie heads across the  street for a stick over there. While he is doing that Harriet goes back to the tree in the front for more pine. To not be out done by Ozzie she brings in some in her talons and her beak. Way to go Harriet!!!!! This time she upset a crow and it's hot on her tail and follows she into the nest tree just a squawking.

Ozzie and his last stick

Ozzie returns with his stick and they are both in the nest rearranging things.Of course Ozzie being Ozzie ,Harriet gets out of the way.She goes up to the attic branch and soon after Ozzie leaves for the big Pine tree across the street where he sit's watching and listening to Harriet. Harriet stay's for a bit then leaves around 10:00-10:300 am and Ozzie leaves his perch across the road too. Before I get in my truck, I saw Ozzie and Harriet soaring together east of the church. I stood there until I couldn't see them any more with a smile on my face. It has been another GREAT day with Ozzie and Harriet.
